Jack Grealish makes Notts County promise after old video of Man City star surfaces

Manchester City star Jack Grealish says Notts County are always in his heart after footage of the former loanee assisting a goal against Port Vale resurfaced on social media.

The 27-year-old spent almost the entirety of the 2013/14 season on loan at Meadow Lane from parent club Aston Villa as Notts successfully avoided relegation from League One. Grealish scored five goals and assisted another seven during the spell, and now one of the latter in particular has resurfaced.

In the clip, the now England international receives the ball out on the left from Gareth Roberts following a throw-in before embarking on a slaloming dribble where the playmaker beats two Port Vale defenders multiple times before cutting the ball back across the face of goal for Jamal Campbell-Ryce to score his second and the Magpies' fourth of a 4-2 win in which Shaun Derry's side came back from a two-goal deficit to triumph. Grealish himself has since seen the footage filmed by a fan from the stands at Meadow Lane back again and replied on Twitter.
