Jack Grealish in same shirt from night before as Man City return from Ibiza for parade

Jack Grealish was still wearing the same shirt from Manchester City’s wild night out in Ibiza as he landed back in England ahead of the team’s victory parade.

City have been making the most of their celebrations after clinching an historic Treble by beating Inter Milan 1-0 in the Champions League final in Istanbul on Saturday night. They have become the first side since Manchester United in 1999 to win the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup in the same season – and they have been revelling in their achievement.

After enjoying the victory inside the Ataturk Olympic Stadium with their supporters on Saturday, many of the squad jetted off to the Mediterranean island of Ibiza to continue partying. Unsurprisingly, England winger Grealish was at the front and centre of the celebrations, popping up with regularity on social media.

The £100million winger was videoed leading the team karaoke sessions and the drinking, all while still wearing his kit from the win over Inter. He later changed into a sky-blue shirt to party the night away in Ibiza.

On Monday afternoon the City squad and staff were whisked back to Manchester by private jet to prepare for the next stage of their celebrations: an open-top bus parade around their home city. They arrived at Manchester Airport still in full party mode, with Grealish snapped still wearing his party attire.

He was with teammates including Ruben Dias, Ederson, Erling Haaland, Nathan Ake, Kalvin Phillips, Phil Foden, Aymeric Laporte and Champions League match-winner Rodri. The group seemed to still be in high spirits despite the lack of sleep after a 10-hour stop-off in Ibiza.

They will be on the bus to parade among their adoring fans on Monday afternoon, with a route from Deansgate to Portland Street planned by the club. Live music from bands and DJs is expected to ensure the party doesn’t stop just yet.

Grealish has been busy drinking lager, playing Fleetwood Mac out of a portable speaker and singing songs about winning the Treble for the past 48 hours. But he spoke eloquently about what the historic season meant to him in Istanbul on Saturday.

Asked to sum up his emotions by BT Sport after the full-time whistle, he admitted: “I don’t know. This is just what you work for your whole life. I am so happy man.”

He added: “I was awful today. I don’t care. To win the treble, with this group of players is so special. Anyone who knows me knows how much of a family person I am and how much I love football, and this is my whole life.”

“You think of all the people who have helped you along the way and I saw my family in the crowd, and it just made me emotional.”
