Jack Eichel buried the Sabres with a goal, then savagely trolled Buffalo fans to celebrate

Jack Eichel is making a habit out of trolling his former hockey team.

On Thursday, Eichel and the Vegas Golden Knights were visiting the Buffalo Sabres, the second meeting between the two after the former second overall pick was traded out west a year ago. After Eichel’s first visit back to Buffalo last spring, the forward took a shot at Sabres fans and their in-game enthusiasm during his six-year tenure with the club.

And now, Eichel’s turning up the heat with some extremely petty goal celebrations. In the third period of a Golden Knights rout, Eichel scored on a wide open net to give Vegas a 5-2 lead. He then celebrated with his arms outstretched to the crowd with the biggest smile, giving it all to the Buffalo crowd.

Eichel wasn’t done either, as he ended up scoring a hat trick in the dying moments of the game to complete a triumphant return to Buffalo.

I’m so here for petty Eichel. After the way the Sabres treated him in Buffalo by denying him neck surgery, Eichel deserves to go off like that every time he plays against his former team.
