After over a decade of being onboard with the platform Twitter founder Jack Dorsey announced a big social media move this week.
Dorsey is leaving Instagram after more than 12 years on the platform.

"Deleted my Instagram account after 12 years. Was one of the first 10 accounts I believe, and one of the first angel investors. Who will they give the @jack handle too?," Dorsey wondered aloud on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Dorsey stuck with IG even after it was acquired by rival Facebook (at the time, Meta now) (META) -) in 2012, but it seems that he is fed up with the platform.
Meta has a vast social media presence through Facebook, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram, and one responder in the thread asked if Dorsey had a Facebook account.

clear eyes, meta free, can’t lose
When asked the reason for his departure from the platform, Jack was coy with his answer.
"All the reasons are too meta to be interesting," Jack said.

He went on to later claim that WhatsApp is "compromised" without expounding on the thought.
So is there any technology that can be trusted? Dorsey says there is, and it's one of the biggest companies in the world.
"I generally trust Apple more than others given their business model and stated values, but have ben disappointed in their approach to the App Store broadly," Dorsey said.
All trade offs. I generally trust Apple more than others given their business model and stated values, but have been disappointed in their approach to the App Store broadly.
