Jack Daniel's Fans Pour One Out for Distillery After Barrel House Collapses in Tennessee: 'I Volunteer to Clean Up'

A barrel house at the Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, partially collapsed early Monday morning.

"Overnight, there was a partial collapse of a Jack Daniel Distillery barrel house in Lynchburg, TN. No individuals were inside the barrel house at the time, and there were no injuries to any employees. We are working with distillery and local officials to assess the damage," said Svend Jansen, Jack Daniel's Global Public Relations Director, in a statement per The Lynchburg Times.

Whiskey enthusiasts wasted no time mourning the loss and joking about potential cleanup efforts.

"I volunteer to clean up and dispose of any spills," one X user posted. Another chimed in, "This is alcohol abuse."

Other fans questioned whether the iconic brand would use the spill in future marketing.

"Wait for the Barrelhouse 107 bottles in a few years," one fan tweeted. "'The Great Collapse' distillers reserve collection," another chimed in.

While the cause of the collapse is still under investigation, the Moore County Sheriff Tyler Hatefield said, "Jack Daniel's has plenty of resources to handle the situation," according to WKRN. "Everything is contained at this point."
