Jack Butland can't wait to get started at Rangers as he hailed the support since his move as 'incredible'.
Michael Beale identified the England cap as his priority signing in the goalkeeping ranks with Allan McGregor leaving the club and Jon McLaughlin likely to follow. He brings vital experience and competition beside Robby McCrorie and Kieran Wright for the seasons ahead.
The former Crystal Palace and Manchester United loanee has put pen to paper on a pre-contract deal and will officially join on July 1 on a four year deal. He is the third player to agree a move to Ibrox in the summer as he joins Kieran Dowell and Dujon Sterling on signing on the dotted line as part of major summer overhaul in Govan.
Beale is reported to be ready to splash in the cash to secure his attacking targets with both Cremonese’s Cyriel Dessers and Atalanta's Sam Lammers identified. The Daily Record report the Light Blues are in talks with both Italian clubs to try get deals agreed. They are also in dialogue over Jose Cifuentes at Los Angeles FC.
If all three join that will take the shopping spree this summer to six new players and more could follow with fringe men likely to join Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Scott Arfield, Filip Helander and McGregor in leaving Glasgow.
Writing on his Instagram, Butland said: "A new kit and new challenge!
"Support has been incredible since joining, looking forward to the hard work beginning in a few weeks."
Former Manchester United team-mates David De Gea and Christian Eriksen showed their support by liking his post.
