Fuming Jack Butland isn't having the sentiment that Rangers were better in the second half as they dropped more points in the Scottish Premiership against Dundee United on Saturday.
Manager Philippe Clement talked up Rangers' display after the interval, where Vaclav Cerny's strike cancelled out a first half opener from an unmarked Sam Dalby.
Rangers did dominate from then on, however they failed to find that elusive winner, leading to boos come the final whistle.
Butland, who stood in as captain for this fixture, knows Rangers shouldn't allowing teams to leave Ibrox with a share of the spoils, and admitted that the supporters are right to expect much more quality. The stalemate means Rangers sit 11 points behind leaders Celtic, with 12 league games played.

Rangers vs Dundee United delayed after Storm Bert travel chaos
"It can't take until the second half to get going,” he told Rangers TV. “The game is the way it is in the second half because they are holding onto something. We can’t use that also as a positive that we were in the ascendancy or anything like that.
“We have got to be better. We are giving away too many easy goals against teams that are just looking to sit in and hold on to something.
“So, yeah, we have not won. It’s not ideal. It’s not a great result at all. We should never be drawing that game. It feels like a loss. These games have got to be wins.
“It’s not that we didn’t take control it’s more doing enough to take the game away from them. They come here and everything that surrounds it. They are coming here to try and get a result. To try and be difficult. Try and be awkward. That’s what teams are going to bring when they come here.
“It needs more from us. And then these goals [that are conceded] these things don’t happen as we’re in the ascendancy in the first half and we play with the right intensity. We didn’t do that in the first half and we’ve not done that in enough first half’s so far this season, and made our lives difficult.”
Asked to elaborate on why Rangers are struggling to produce a complete 90 minute performance, the experienced shot-stopper replied: “It’s not for the want of trying. It’s not for the reminders. We just have to do it. It’s pointless speaking about it.
“I could speak to you until I’m blue in the face about it. It’s just got be done. It’s the standard and in the end you put yourself in difficult positions the minute we are doing that.
“I hate having these conversations. It’s not what the fans deserve, it’s not what the ground staff, everyone else deserve. They got the game and the surrounding areas in the position and a state to play. It’s not what the paying fans deserve from the game today.
“So, I didn’t enjoy that. I didn’t enjoy the result and we need to do more. We need to do much more.”
