Jack and Michael Whitehall bringing their live stage show to Canberra

WATCH: Jake Whitehall being dissed by Prince William

Everyone's favourite father-and-son duo - Jack and Michael Whitehall - are coming to Canberra.

Will they bring Winston? Will they catch up with that charming emu farmer while they are back in Australia?

What's next for the father and son whose relationship could best be described as charmingly caustic on Michael's side and puppy-ish-ly juvenile on Jack's side?

The Whitehalls will be live on stage at the Royal Theatre in Canberra on Wednesday, January 29.

Unfortunately, just a little late for them to attend Summernats.

How good would it have been to see Michael and Jack trying a burnout?

Wife and mum Hilary will be on hand to keep Michael and Jack in check.

(No word on whether Winston is coming to Australia. He's the life-like doll Michael "adopted", mainly to niggle Jack. Winston, meanwhile, has 143,000 followers on his own Instagram page.)

Whitehall junior and senior been exploring the world for years in their smash-hit Netflix series, Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father.

Together, they have survived naked yoga, Chernobyl's toilet facilities and farting emus.

Their latest Netflix series is Fatherhood with My Father as Jake navigates becoming a father (he has a new daughter Elsie with fiance Roxy Horner) while dragging Michael along for the ride.

Now they are getting ready for their tour of Australia, also taking in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Perth.

Tickets for their Australian shows go on sale on Friday, September 20 at noon at bohmpresents.com.

Expect "tall tales, family secrets and rare revealing photographs from the family album".

Michael Whitehall, 84, is a former theatrical talent who went on to form two production companies, one with actor Nigel Havers.

A stand-up comic, Jack Whitehall, 36, has also appeared in movies including Jungle Cruise and Clifford the Big Red Dog.

He most recently was dissed by Prince William for his "dad-joke" humour.
