Manchester United fans have been able to catch a good glimpse of new signing Tyrell Malacia this summer.
The left-back played in all four pre-season tour friendlies, totalling 190 minutes of pitch time. He is expected to challenge Luke Shaw for his starting spot this season.
Erik ten Hag has asked his full-backs to push on up the flank, overlapping and underlapping their wingers. Malacia was brought in as a ready-made fit for this and United fans are excited to see how he will fare in the Premier League.

United icon Jaap Stam has watched his countryman play for the Netherlands over the past year, since making his debut last September. He confirmed what many supporters expected, promising that the 22-year-old will bring “clever” wide play.
But he also outlined that Malacia will chip in with goals. He netted just once last campaign amid his five assists, scoring four times in his 136 Feyenoord appearances overall. Hailing the defender’s abilities to Genting Casino, Stam explained: “He’s [Malacia] a clever operator.
“He plays on the front foot and is aggressive in his challenges. He is very confident on the ball and the United fans can expect to see him bombing down the pitch, making overlaps, delivering quality crosses into the box and also scoring goals. He has that in his locker. Defensively, he is very good one against one."
