Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase continues to see the honors roll in after his historic pro debut.
A day removed from being named to the Pro Football Writers’ All-AFC team alongside quarterback Joe Burrow, the same organization has gifted Chase the Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
Chase spent the regular season rewriting the record books with 81 catches for 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns while averaging 18 yards per catch. He then broke records by catching nine passes for 116 yards in the wild card win over Las Vegas, then five more for 109 in the divisional round win over Tennessee.
Chase is also on the All-Rookie Team, though he lost out on the overall 2021 Rookie of the Year award, which went to Dallas Cowboys pass-rusher Micah Parsons.
