Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase didn’t hide his frustrations after Cincinnati’s blowout loss to the Titans in Week 4.
Speaking to reporters following the 27-3 defeat, Chase expressed his frustration with the offense’s lack of production, declaring that he feels he’s getting open on his routes.
“I’m open. I’m always f--king open,” said Chase, via Marshall Kramsky of WCPO. “Excuse my profanity, sorry.”
Chase was targeted 10 times in Sunday’s loss, catching seven receptions and recording 73 yards. The Bengals had a total of 165 passing yards, and didn’t score a touchdown in the game, the second time they’ve been held without a touchdown this season.

The loss against Tennessee sees the Bengals fall to 1-3 on the year. Chase has yet to catch a touchdown during the ‘23 season. It’s the longest scoring drought of the 23-year-old’s career, as he’d never previously gone four consecutive games without a touchdown.
The entire offense is struggling, but Chase seems to think he’s doing enough to get open, whether or not Joe Burrow is able to get him the ball.
Cincinnati will look to get back on track in Week 5 on the road against the Cardinals.
