It would be reasonable to expect that Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase ranks pretty highly on the list of most cornerback’s toughest guys to face.
But apparently not for Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey.
On his “Punch Line” podcast recently, Humphrey listed his four toughest wideouts in the NFL to guard and named Antonio Brown, Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill and Justin Jefferson.
Bengals fans obviously took issue with the omission of Chase considering back in 2021, he put up 201 yards and and a touchdown on Humphrey and the Ravens (then another 125 later that year). Chase had another 136 yards and a score over two games against the Ravens in 2022.
Humphrey has been pretty funnily outspoken on social media about the damage Chase did to him, too.
Unfortunately for everyone, this rivalry likely won’t get another installment early in 2023 with Humphrey’s injury likely impacting the next Bengals-Ravens encounter.
