Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase didn’t need long to see the trash talk from Kansas City Chiefs players.
For those out of the loop, a Chiefs defender went and threw out some bulletin board material for the Bengals on Wednesday before the two teams meet in Week 13.
Said trash talk included throwing out words like “finesse” and saying weapons like Tee Higgins and Hayden Hurst would get shut down.
Chase saw those before he makes his big return on Sunday, which means most of the Bengals offense, at a minimum, saw them too.
Reid went on social media to clarify his comments and Chase tracked him down there:
let’s put some money on it big time 👀

Reid acknowledged the bulletin board material and Chase fired back again:

The Chiefs didn’t do much shuttering of Chase over two encounters last season, for what it’s worth. But it’s still fun to see one of the NFL’s new great rivalries get some pregame sparring on well before actually taking the field.
