The mini war of words between the Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs continued into Friday on social media courtesy of Ja’Marr Chase.
Chase, like anyone else tuned into the football world these days, must have seen the Twitter post from Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes from during his team’s Super Bowl ring reveal the night prior.
Not to let Mahomes have the last word, Chase got into the comments of star quarterback Joe Burrow and wrote the following: “(TOP 2) DAM SURE AINT 2!”
Chase had initially started this little back and forth by calling Burrow the top passer in the league earlier in the week, throwing in a “Pat who?” joke in the process, prompting Mahomes’ Twitter post.
It’s all in good fun for what looks to be the NFL’s top rivalry right now, though it shouldn’t be a shocker that Chase keeps propping up his guy as the best quarterback in the league.
