It appears that Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman J.J. Watt has only two games left in his NFL career.
He didn’t formally announce his retirement following the conclusion of this season, but his social media post on Tuesday makes it clear he is done with football.
He posted a photo on Twitter with his wife and his baby son, Koa.

The Cardinals’ 19-16 overtime loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday was Watt’s last-ever home game. He doesn’t plan on playing again after this season.
The Cardinals have two road games left on their schedule.
Watt is 33 years old and finishing his 12th NFL season and second with the Cardinals. He became a father this season and also went through a health scare with his heart.
He is having a fantastic season. His 9.5 sacks lead the team and he is half a sack from his first 10-sack season since 2018.
Watt is a five-time Pro Bowler, five-time first team All-Pro and three-time Defensive Player of the Year.
He will surely end up in the Hall of Fame.
Cardinals fans can enjoy Watt’s final two games. It is the end of a special career.
