Ivan Fresneda's representatives have touched down in London as speculation continues to build regarding the future of the Real Valladolid right-back. The young Spanish defender has been linked with a move to Newcastle United, while Premier League leaders Arsenal are also understood to be keen on his signature.
Luis Bardají - the right-back's agent - posted an image on his Instagram story from a hotel in London, captioning the picture "to disconnect." The image has caused a stir among the Gunners fanbase who are hopeful of adding the young defender to their ranks in January.
However, it wouldn't be the first time Arsenal fans have jumped the gun. The Gunners fanbase went into a frenzy when Alexander Isak was spotted in Selfridges in London, prompting suggestions he was signing at the Emirates, only for the Toon to win the race for his signature.

Newcastle supporters have also been in this situation before. Back in the summer, Benjamin Sesko's agent was spotted on Tyneside but the hot prospect signed for RB Leipzig in the following weeks.
At just 18-years-old, Fresneda has burst onto the scene in La Liga making eight appearances to date. The Real Vallodolid defender was among the standout performers as they took on Real Madrid in December, with Juventus and Borussia Dortmund also taking an interest in his performances.
Nonetheless, Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has kept his cards close to his chest in terms of January transfer business. “We’re working hard at the moment on staying in contact with the market and looking at players and doing a lot of work," Howe told reporters. "We’re not imminently close to signing anybody. We’re not actively bidding for players at the moment.”
"I think we're looking at all positions," he continued. "I know that's not the answer you want but we are very much casting our eye over a number of positions because you know things can change so quickly.
"So there's possibly one or two areas of the squad I'd look at and say we're probably lighter in that area than others but as always I like to keep these things internal."
