ITV4 The Chase: Viewers 'in stitches' after player admits reason for coming on show

Tonight (August 24) saw another episode of The Chase return to our screens with four players trying their best to take home a cash prise by answering as may questions as they can.

It saw Christopher, Olivia, Louise and Lee all work together to try and bring home their cash builder prize and take home a share of the prize money.

However, it was not meant to be for the team of four with Louise and Lee being the only two to get through to the final Chase as they fought to take home £10,000.

After getting 14 questions correct, the Chaser Shaun Wallace, also known as the Dark Destroyer, sadly caught the team with 45 seconds left on the clock.

However during the show it was one player who caught the attention of those watching at home. Olivia, who has delivered over 180 babies over the last two years, was next to take centre stage after the first player, Christopher, was sent packing.

She had a good cash builder round but during the head to head with Chaser, she sadly got one of the questions wrong and was sent home after being caught. Leaving the show, Brad admitted she was an "absolute star" and loved the fact she applied only because her friends told her to.

Taking to Twitter to discuss her reasoning for coming on The Chase one wrote: "Olivia only here for S**** n giggles."

Another added: "I'm here because my friend told me to come. Hope she flukes it through."

"I only came here because my friend said to - what a reason" a third tweeted with a laughing emoji.
