A Tipping Point player was distraught after she backtracked on a question in the final round of today's show.
Ben Shephard welcomed three new contestants on Thursday's edition of the popular ITV game show. Gary, Sushila and Amaan were testing their general knowledge skills in a bid to win a cash prize from the arcade style machine.
Sushila proceeded to put in an impressive performance as she raced into the lead. The finance director from London fought off competition from Gary and Amaan to progress to the final section of the programme.

Sushila pushed the £10,000 jackpot counter into a tantalising position as it dangled over the tipping point with a few rounds remaining. The player was confident as she approached the TV round, but was aghast when she got the question incorrect.
Ben asked: "In January 2021, which Chaser began hosting the ITV celebrity game show TV Showdown?" Sushila was initally going to go for Paul Sinha, but backtracked and went for Anne Hegerty.
The player winced as Ben confirmed it was the Sinnerman who fronted the show. The gaffe was a part of a final round collapse as Sushila answered the next two questions wrong.
This meant she only had one more chance of building up some counters to input into the machine. Ben warned: "You're making this a lot more tense than what this needs to be."
Sushila got her final question correct and built up £3,250, but she did not push the jackpot counter over. She gambled her winnings to try and win the jackpot, but failed to push the counter over the tipping point - meaning she left empty-handed.
Tipping Point airs weekdays at 4pm on ITV and ITV Hub
