This Morning long-timers Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield returned to the ITV show today (Tuesday, April 19) after an Easter break away from the sofa. The pair, who are known for often being in fits of laughter during the mid-morning chat show, announced a few weeks back that they would be taking some time away, with ITV revealing that some other much-loved members of the This Morning team would be filling their shoes in the meantime.
During his break, 60-year-old Phillip Schofield took to the snowy French slopes to spend some time skiing with Beauty and the Beast star Luke Evans and interior designer Kelly Hoppen. Meanwhile, Holly, 41 has still been on our screens for Freeze the Fear with Wim Hof, which she has been hosting alongside comedian Lee Mack.
Whilst Holly and Phil were away, Bristol's very own television icon Josie Gibson hosted the show alongside Vernon Kay. The hilarious Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary also stood in for the pair as they enjoyed their Easter break.

Holly and Phillip may have only just sat back down on the iconic This Morning sofa, but fans are already demanding that ITV makes changes to its line-up of presenters. Our Josie appears to have left quite the mark on viewers, as her appearances have left them begging for more of the bubbly Bristolian on social media.
Marjorie said: "Let’s just say it… We want Josie back! #Thismorning"
"Wish it was Vernon and Josie (Like the majority of Twitterers) #ThisMorning." wrote Jay.
Rob Allen Tweeted: "Can we have Josie, vernan [sic] and Alison back please???"
Last week, when Josie and Vernon hosted the show, This Morning fans could not get enough of the dynamic duo, with many begging for them to be made permanent hosts. Lisa Dominic said: "The people have spoken (well the This Morning Twitter crowd - its the same) Josie and Vernon should be the main presenters of #ThisMorning - they are funny, natural and also empathetic - job done."
Valerie Harrison gave the pair of presenters five stars, Tweeting: "#ThisMorning loving josie & vernon so funny & normal the top people"
"Please can we keep Vernon and Josie. They are so natural and seem to have a great chemistry #ThisMorning" said Toni Wilson.
Josie, who grew up in Westerleigh, South Gloucestershire, is a fairly new recruit to the team of This Morning presenters. The 37-year-old first joined the show back in 2019, tasked with announcing the show's competitions to viewers.
Late last year, the former Big Brother star stepped in to present the show for the first time after Holly Willoughby came down with a stomach bug. Since then, she has covered for a number of colleagues, with many fans hoping for her to be made a permanent presenter.
