This Morning viewers were taken aback by a telling change at the start of today's show.
Monday's episode was the first since Phillip Schofield announced his dramatic exit. The 61-year-old quit the show on Saturday amid rumours that a reported feud with Holly Willoughby had reached fever pitch.
In a statement, he said: “I have always been proud to cover fascinating stories on This Morning. But recently, This Morning itself has become the story. Throughout my career in TV – including the very difficult last few days – I have always done my best to be honourable and kind. I understand that ITV has decided the current situation can’t go on, and I want to do what I can to protect the show that I love.

"So I have agreed to step down from This Morning with immediate effect, in the hope that the show can move forward to a bright future. I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me – especially This Morning’s amazing viewers – and I’ll see you all for the Soap Awards next month.”
Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary fronted today's episode and issued a tribute to their former co-star. However, fans were taken aback before this as they spotted how the titles had changed.
The titles of the This Morning theme usually feature hosts Holly and Phil making their way to the studio. For today's episode, the music just features clips of London along with what is about to come in the show.
A Twitter user named Dave shared a clip after spotting the change. He said: "For anyone who missed it; - Todays This Morning intro with no people in it (usually has Phillip, Holly, Alison and Dermot)
Sharon added: "Ooft cut them all from opening titles, ouch"
