Viewers were left with the same response during a gift-buying segment on the latest episode of This Morning. Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were back at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Wednesday (July 6) which started with them discussing the latest goings-on in the world of politics after a dramatic 24 hours.
But as ever, the programme is always able to bring some lighter topics to our screens which today included comedian Bill Bailey who joined the presenting duo on the show's famous sofa who was sharing how he will be paying tribute to his late friend Sean Lock with a 100-mile walk along a section of the South West Coast Path, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Also, rather timely, Adrian Lester also appeared opposite Holly and Phillip to discuss playing a Prime Minister in new Channel 4 cyber thriller, The Undeclared War.

However, at the end of the latest show, the co-hosts were joined by Radio 1 star Matt Edmonson who was on hand with a gift guide as the end of the school year quickly approaches.
Whether it’s a group gift, a special experience or something sweet, the presenter was able to offer a few ideas on what many of our children's deserving teachers will actually want to receive at the end of term.
Preempting what the comments may be, Phillip, 60, gave a warning right at the start of the segment. After telling Matt that it was 'lovely to see him', the presenter said: "We are fully aware that times are tough and that money is short and you many not have enough money to think about yourself let alone a teacher's present."
He then added: "But you could maybe agree to club together or something like that," to which Matt agreed. "Firstly, just showing gratitude in any way is the right thing to do," he said. "Whether that's a picture that's drawn by your kid or even a letter, a card, that sort of thing."
Matt then went on to rattle through a variety of different gifts - from candles to plants. But it was the more expensive gifts - including a £99 adventures experience and £79.95 Ember Mug Collection - that got This Morning viewers talking.
@XxLadyClaireXx tweeted in surprise: "£100 present for your teacher?? You must be having a laugh!! #ThisMorning." @ToriaTowers commented: "£100 for a mug, for a teacher. Get stuffed. #ThisMorning." @carladaisy94 shared: "I'm sorry but I am not buying my son's teacher a gift experience, that is ridiculous #ThisMorning."
@coxyhockeychick argued: "A card saying thank you would be fine!!!!#ThisMorning," to which @DanniizDesignz replied: "Even better a handmade or hand drawn card, from the younger pupils/students would probably be highly appreciated." @MrsFairySpice also shared: "#ThisMorning #Teacher gifts. Speaking as a teacher, staff are happy with a card with a personal message in. Or parents club together, put 50p in each and buy a gift or voucher together. It’s the thought that counts and doesn’t need to be expensive."
