The 42-year-old took to Instagram to announce that Dermot, who hosted Soccer Aid on Sunday night, would be filling the gap left by Phillip Schofield in the wake of his scandal, reports Birmingham Live.
Dermot typically hosts the show on Friday mornings, from 10 am til midday, with Alison Hammond.
Holly wrote: "Morning Monday… see you at 10 am on @thismorning with the lovely @dermotoleary. Also so happy to welcome back @jamesmartinchef to the kitchen today… #hwstyledress by @newlook."
Taking to the comments and in response to experience one said: "Looking good and happy - shine though." Helen said: "Love Dermot... brilliant presenter".
Holly returned to the show on Monday, June 5 with a pre-prepared speech about Schofe. She said: "I hope that, as we start this new chapter and get back to a place of warmth and magic that this show holds for all of us, we can find strength in each other," she said. "And, from my heart, can I just say thank you for all of your kind messages and thank you for being here for This Morning.
"Myself, Josie, Dermot (O'Leary), Alison (Hammond), Craig (Doyle), and every single person that works on this show will continue to work hard every single day to bring you that, this show that we love."
