ITV This Morning viewers gobsmacked to uncover Andi Peters' age after BBC throwback

This Morning viewers were gobsmacked as they uncovered Andi Peters' age on today's show.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield fronted Wednesday's edition of ITV's flagship daytime programme. They were joined by Andi and Andy Crane as they paid tribute to the BBC's 100 year anniversary.

Phil, Andi and Andy all got their professional starts at the broadcaster on children's television show, The Broom Cupboard. The presenters reminisced on the iconic show as they were joined by puppet Gordon the Gopher.

This Morning broadcast clips from the show which revealed the hosts' youthful appearance. However, fans were amazed as they praised Andi's age-defying appearance.

Andi succeeded Phil on The Broom Cupboard in 1989 when he was aged just 19 years old. Fans following the show on Twitter were in disbelief as they discovered he is now aged 52.

Rico said: "I need @andipeters personal trainer how does he look that great at 52?"

Chatal added: "Andi peters still looks the same from when he was presenting Children's BBC"

Traylor commented : "Andi Peters hasn’t aged in 30 years"

Ashley tweeted: "I’m sorry I refuse to believe @andipeters is of a certain age. That man doesn’t age at all."
