ITV This Morning viewers demand 'ban' is implemented as Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield return after Dancing on Ice

Viewers have demanded that a 'ban' be implemented on This Morning as they grow bored of one particular topic. Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were back at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Monday (January 16) and joked they had only just parted after hosting the series opener of Dancing on Ice.

For the next several weeks, the hosting duo will be back on-screens for an extra day a week as they appear on the ITV skating show. And after putting on their best glam displays rinkside on Sunday night (January 15) as the first six celebrities and their professional partners took to the ice, it was back to their morning job today.

Kicking off the first This Morning of the week, Holly and Phillip introduced an important segment on first aid with Dr Philippa and Dr Sara showing viewers how to perform CPR on both adults and children, as well as showing those watching how to treat burns and what to do when someone has a seizure.

However, things took a turn among viewers following an ad break when it was time for the hosts to dicuss the latest news headlines with Camilla Tominey and Gyles Brandreth in 'This Morning's View'. And it wasn't long before Prince Harry was back at the forefront of the conversation, a week after his headline-hitting memoir was released.

This time, the four-piece were discussing reports that royal 'peace talks' could take place before King Charles' coronation takes place in May. A royal source has said that Harry has called for a reconciliation on several occasions, asking for "an apology" from his Royal Family, but they have "shown absolutely no willingness to reconcile."

However, it is claimed that the Sussexes and the Wales' could be set for talks before Harry and William's father is officially declared King on May 6 following the death of his beloved mother, Queen Elizabeth II, in September.

But as Phillip and Holly chatted with Camilla and Gyles about the rumours, This Morning viewers were flocking to social media to complain follow the return of talk of Harry after the news segment was dominated by the former senior royal earlier in the month.

@MIKEKIN73778218 tweeted: "This #Thismorning needs to ban talking about Harry and Meghan." @MissLionHeart argued: "It's quite ironic for #ThisMorning and other media outlets to tell Harry and Meghan to shut up when they can't do that themselves!" @RobsonMcTanned posted: "Shut up about Harry, jesus christ on a bike #ThisMorning." @dirk7890 added: "Move on from Harry FFS #ThisMorning."
