Josie Gibson was mortified by a guest's faux pas during today's This Morning.
The Bristolian presenter fronted Tuesday's edition of ITV's flagship daytime programme alongside Dermot O'Leary. The two introduced a segment from gardening expert, Daisy Payne, who was in Berkshire to take a look at the countryside's snowdrops.
However, Daisy was forced to apologise when she was worried she'd accidentally spat on her guest. Josie was sympathetic as she returned to the studio.

The 38-year-old said: "It's always a bit awkward when you spray on your guest but we've all been there." Daisy shot back: "It's like on a first date, isn't it. You don't want to spit on anyone."
Viewers following the show on Twitter were taken aback by the exchange.

Holly posted, alongside a laughing emoji: "I think I just spat on you"
