Josie Gibson was awkwardly shut down when she quizzed Matt Goss on his dance moves. The Bros star appeared on This Morning on Thursday (February 16) to chat to the presenter and her co-host Dermot O'Leary about his upcoming tour.
Matt, who appeared on the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing at the end of last year, joined the hosting pair, who have been filling in for Holly Willoughy and Phillip Schofield, live in the studio and even made a slightly unexpected comment to Dermot.
As the When Will I Be Famous hitmaker spoke about his excitement at being able to travel around the country and see his fans in the UK after a long residency in Las Vegas, Matt couldn't help but comment on Dermot's dancing skills after seeing the former X Factor host showing off his moves on Instagram.
Matt praised the host as he said: "You've got some moves. You've got to check out Dermot's Instagram. He's one of these dancers that whatever comes into his mind, he just does. I love it. Legend. I watched that about thirty times," as clips of Dermot dancing appeared on screen.
However, Dermot wasn't expecting what the singer said next. "I was slightly aroused by the moves," Matt said as Dermot sheepily smied and collapsed back into the sofa as Josie loudly giggled. "It's a great song man," Dermot replied, brushing off the comment, and returning it to the music.
Meanwhile, when former Big Brother winner Josie asked if he'll be showing off his Strictly moves during his tour, Matt quickly replied with a simple "no" as Josie laughed and mouthed to the camera: "Okay!" But Matt added: "I'm going to be bringing some swagger, some... I'm just being honest. I'm going to bring my swagger and just have a good time."
Josie then jokingly pointed out that Dermot had been "roasted by Matt Goss" after he said he 'does what Dermot does' when it comes to dancing before adding the caveat: "But with rhythm!"
As the banter kept flowing on-screen, This Morning viewers couldn't help but share their joy at seeing Matt on the show. @Elizabeth241072 said: "Matt Goss still looks great some 35 years on #thismorning." @Samanth08478617 posted: "Aww people are really s***ty about Matt Goss. I think he's a lovely bloke #ThisMorning."
