ITV This Morning's Holly Willoughby quips 'I'm not asking' as she talks sharing her husband after Lorraine Kelly suggestion

Holly Willoughby was quick to deny she was asking to share people's husbands, or share her own, as she returned to This Morning. The TV presenter was back fronting the show on Wednesday (January 11) alongside co-host Phillip Schofield.

Kicking off the latest installment of the ITV daytime programme, the presenting duo were revealing what was coming up in the two-and-a-half hours they're on air when Holly, 41, realised something she was saying may have come across a lot differently to viewers watching at home.

"Would you share your husband?" the mum-of-three asked before a brief pause as she added: "I'm not asking," which led to Phillip bursting into laugher. He then said: "We all know yours way too well. That's a challenge and a half."

It came after, prior to opening the show, Phillip, 60, appeared speechless as Lorraine Kelly made a cheeky quip. During their usual crossover before the end of Lorraine's self-titled ITV show in which Holly and Phillip share what's coming up on This Morning, the presenters mentioned the throuple they would be chatting to.

And Lorraine, 62, left Phillip raising his eyebrows made a joke about the three presenters being in a throuple together. "And it's the new relationship buzzword, but would you join a throuple? We meet the three people who say they're very much in love with one another so that's in a bit," Phillip said.

To which Lorraine replied: "Well look, there's the three of us already! We are a throuple!" Phillip looked stunned by her comments and pulled a face, before Holly added: "We're a throuple, love it! Come on over Lorraine," as Phil continued to look perplexed before joking he was "trying to work it all out".

After the break, as they opened their show, Phillip said: "Welcome to This Morning, I'm still trying to figure out what Lorraine just said," Phillip remarked as Holly laughed. "If you weren't watching, then tough!"
