ITV This Morning's Holly Willoughby left stunned after BAFTA award-winning actor gatecrashes Alison Hammond interview

Alison Hammond had a big night at the BAFTA Awards on Sunday (February 19) after making her co-hosting debut. The presenter, who is a regular face on This Morning, joined legendary actor Richard E. Grant at London's Royal Festival Hall to host this year's annual film awards.

The former Big Brother contestant fronted the ceremony whilst interviewing the glamorous guests and winners across the night. The 76th British Academy Film Awards saw Austin Butler win Best Actor for his role as Elvis in the self-titled movie, as well as Cate Blanchett win Best Actress for her performance in Tár.

As Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield returned to host This Morning on Monday, the presenters caught up with their peer Alison, 48, to get all the gossip and exclusives from the BAFTAS.

Alison appeared live on video call whilst she told Holly and Phil all about her eventful night.

"Tell us your gossip, what did you do after? Who did you see? Who did you snog?," Phil probed.

"Honestly there was a moment when Catherine Zeta-Jones shouted 'Alison' and I thought 'what is going on? I was in a dream world it was so lovely," Alison revealed.

"There was a panic with my dress though because obviously I slipped the first time I went on the stage. It was really shiny and I slipped over flat on my face."

But whilst revealing all about her mishap, it appeared Alison was in the company of an unexpected guest.

"Who's this?," Alison joked as Irish actor Barry Keoghan appeared behind her head smiling and making a peace sign with his fingers.

"I don't know what he's doing here, I haven't got a clue" she added.

Holly and Phil looked at the camera in pure shock as Holly asked: "Are you still out at a party?".

"Well maybe...", Alison responded before breaking into a fit of laughter.

"Did you take Barry home last night? What is going on?," quizzed Holly.

But shutting down the rumours Alison then revealed: "I’ll tell you a secret. I’m actually going over to Ireland, and so is Barry. We’re at the airport."

Barry Keoghan, 30, won Best Supporting Actor at the BAFTAS for his critically award winning portrayal of Dominic in Banshees of Inisherin.
