ITV This Morning's Holly Willoughby in disbelief as Phillip Schofield gives her the moon

The mum-of-three was thrilled as a mixologist instructed her and Phil how to make a special cocktail named The Willoughby in her honour.

However, her co-host revealed the birthday treats didn't stop there as he unveiled a special gift.

Phil placed a plastic glove on his hand before he revealed a piece of the moon from the UK's largest planetarium.

He added: "This is a meteorite that hit the moon and a bit of the moon broke off. This didn't happen last week."

Holly was amazed as Phil said she could hold the moon without wearing the gloves.

She said: " When are you ever going to do something like that. That's amazing."

Viewers following the show on Twitter flooded the comments to wish Holly a happy birthday during the segment.

Charlie said: " Happy birthday Holly!"

Tim added: "Happy Birthday Holly"

Elizabeth commented : "Happy Birthday Holly!"

Jamie messaged: "Wishing my Birthday Twin @hollywills a very Happy Birthday"

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub
