Gino D'Acampo came under fire from This Morning viewers over a remark made on today's show.
Tuesday's edition of ITV's flagship daytime programme was hosted by usual presenting team, Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
The latest episode marked International Women's Day - and the hosts were joined by the popular chef as he issued advice to callers for an "Ask Gino" feature.

However, Gino was slammed by fans for a joke he made while roaming around a bustling call centre.
He said: "People at home you can ask me anything you want.
"Today it is apparently International Women's Day. So what I realised down here in the office is this lady here is looking for a husband. Everybody is looking for a husband.
"Are you looking for a husband? Ah no, you said you were looking to have an affair. So it looks like down here in the office everybody is looking for a husband."
Viewers following the show on Twitter took to the social media platform to criticise the comment.
Amy said: "How did Gino make #InternationalWomensDay about women needing a man"
Hayley added: "Gino do you want a husband. No i don't"
Mel posted : "Gino on #ThisMorning “joking” about how all women want is a husband there. On #IWD. I’m tired."
Cheryl tweeted: "Gino mate, don't know how to break it to you, but not every woman is looking for a husband."
