Dermot O'Leary left viewers cringing just seconds into the last This Morning of the week. The presenter and his co-host Alison Hammond were back on the small screen for their last day of covering the show over the half-term break ahead of Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield's return next week.
And the Jubilee celebrations were continuing on the show, with the studio decked out in Union Jack bunting and more chat about Thursday's start to the bumper four-day weekend which saw the Queen make a public appearance alongside senior members of the royal family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace following Trooping the Colour.
Kicking off Friday's show, Alison and Dermot welcomed viewers to the programme before revealing what they had coming up today. They spoke to resident vet Dr Scott who was out in Suffolk at a pool with a very fluffy pet pooch before some doggy swimming.

"Are you going to get into your trunks and get into the water today?" Alison cheeky asked Scott who replied: "Sure am, my love. Anything for you for... what is it? Platy Jubes?" before giving a wink. He was referring to Alison's moment yesterday where she made up a song using the nickname of the celebration before going viral online.
As they finished up teasing what was to come, Dermot had a request for Alison, begging her to sing the song. As she politely declined, the 49-year-old former X Factor star grabbed out to her hand and began to beg before impersonating a whining child by calling his co-star 'mum'.
Alison continued to refuse before they eventually moved on. But not before This Morning fans had their say. @FanOfTV05 tweeted: "Dermot you're embarrassing yourself #ThisMorning," as @The_zombied replied: "Cringe!!"
