Alison Hammond was left blushing after an X-rated blunder forced her to apologise.
The popular broadcaster was joined by co-host Dermott O'Leary presenting Wednesday's instalment of This Morning, as the pair filled in for regular hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
Alison and Dermot hosted a jam-packed edition which included an interview with Hollyoaks star Joe Tracini, who bravely opened up about his borderline personality disorder. They were also joined by Dr Megan Rossi, who dished out diet advice to viewers.
The medical expert explained how gut health could be the secret to happiness. However, Dermot was in hysterics during the segment as Alison mixed up her words while asking for advice, appearing to ask for "t***" before quickly correcting herself and asking for 'tips'.
She said: "For everyone watching at home who haven't got a clue how to start, can you give us some basic t*** on what to do. Tips, not t**s."
"Apologies, that's a different item." Dermot erupted with laughter after the comment.
He said: "We'll take whatever you got. If you've got some ticks for us, we'll have them as well." Dr Rossi went on to explain how some simple changes can improve gut health.
She said: "Whatever you're having for breakfast, consider adding in a teaspoon of mixed seeds because you're gonna get extra fibre that way."
Viewers took to social media to share their social media thoughts on the hilarious moment. One penned: "Alison would be an amazing therapist? She wouldn't be able to take anything seriously. #ThisMorning "
" #ThisMorning can I just say how I’m in aww of Alison, she is so pretty, her skin, makeup and hair, are just perfect, love watching Alison and Dermot, brilliant together, love Holly and Phill too, keep this lovely show going," wrote another but a third agreed: " @itv #ThisMorning is so much better with Dermot & Alison - can't stand it when those other two are on."
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV from 10am.
