Alison Hammond got viewers talking as she returned to This Morning. The presenter was back at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Tuesday (July 12) alongside co-host Dermot O'Leary.
The pair were only on the second day of their two-week stint taking over the show full time from Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield who have already headed off on their annual summer break.
Thanks to the scorching weather in many parts of the country, ITV took the latest show outside with Alison and Dermot spending the first half of the programme making the most of the sun before heading back inside. They did, however, get another stint outside the television centre before today's show was out.

And Alison, 47, made sure she was dressed for the occasion, donning a black and beige sleeveless dress which when indoors she added a matching cover-up to.
She was, of course, trying to shield her eyes from the blaring sun with a pair of fancy sunglasses. But the addition of the fashion accessory caused a stir among viewers watching the show at home. While some viewers rushed to share their compliments on social media, others found the to be a distraction.

But @hoarding tweeted: "@thismorningAlison take your sun glasses off please they are lovely but they are giving reflections of your surroundings I’d rather see you as your natural self." @jeanthorburn echoed: "You need to lose the glasses to much reflection."
