Alison Hammond apologised after a rude blunder on today's This Morning.
The popular broadcaster fronted Wednesday's edition of ITV's flagship daytime programme alongside Dermot O'Leary. The two have stepped in to replace Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield while the regular presenters enjoy a week off from hosting duties.
Alison and Dermot hosted a jam-packed edition which included interviews with Hollyoaks star Joe Tracini who bravely opened up about his borderline personality disorder. They were also joined by Dr Megan Rossi, who dished out diet advice to viewers.

The medical expert explained how gut health could be the secret to happiness. However, Dermot was in hysterics during the segment as Alison muddled her words while asking for advice, appearing to ask for "ticks" - then seeking to correct herself and running into trouble.
She said: "For everyone watching at home who haven't got a clue how to start, can you give us some basic ticks on what to do. Tips, not t**s.
"Apologies, that's a different item." Dermot erupted with laughter after the comment.
He said: "We'll take whatever you got. If you've got some ticks for us, we'll have them as well." Dr Rossi went on to explain how some simple changes can improve gut health.
She said: "Whatever you're having for breakfast, consider adding in a teaspoon of mixed seeds because you're gonna get extra fibre that way."
