ITV's This Morning have issued a social media scam warning specifically to those with an Instagram account.
It comes as a colleague is said to have been targeted making her lose access to her social media accounts.
Presenter Alice Beer said that colleague Fleur fell victim to the scam with Fleur herself telling the television presenters it happened suddenly.

She explained: "As soon as I clicked on that link, I lost control of my account completely. It wasn't me. They changed everything - they just took over! My email address so I couldn't recover it, everything."
Phillip Schofield asked how convincing the scam was with Fleur adding: "The message from my friend you mean? It was a friend saying 'I am being put up for an award for influencers and please vote for me', so I did! It was as simple as that!"
Phil and Rochelle grimaced at hearing about the scam, as Fleur and Alice both issued warnings to fans to exercise caution if they have an Instagram account.
