ITV This Morning fans not happy as guest keeps saying 'naughty' word

This Morning fans were taken aback during Wednesday's programme as a high-profile guest kept repeating a "naughty" word live on air.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were back at the helm of the daytime show, discussing the topics of the day, and joined by a number of visitors. One segment saw the pair joined by Sir Bob Geldof.

The music legend was in the studio to discuss the inspiration behind the Boomtown Rats' new single, and to pay tribute to guitarist and founding member Garry Roberts, who died in November last year.

Sir Bob discussed the new song, which is being released in honour of Garry, who was also known as The Legend. The song is a perfect way to "send off your mate, colleague, partner of 40 years", according to Sir Bob.

The 71-year-old added: "I'll turn around and it won't be Gaz any more. Gary, like all guitar players, who are generally a pain in the a**e, thought the way forward was to turn it up just that little bit more."

While fans at home enjoyed his comments, many seemed to notice a word he repeated. Taking to Twitter Carole said: "Omg, Sir Bob said a**e twice!", while Jessica said: "Naughty Bob saying a**e twice".

Dean said: "Did he just say a**e? I'm off to Ofcom", and Kay said: "Ahaha did he say a**e?"

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV and ITVX
