This Morning fans have been left asking 'where's Phillip' as the show's main host was replaced. Phillip Schofield is usually seen fronting the ITV daytime programme from Monday through to Thursday with Holly Willougby.
The pair then take Friday off and Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary are usually on hand to round off another week of episodes. But on Monday morning (March 27), it was a all-girl takeover as Holly, 42, was joined by Alison, 48, at the helm of the popular programme.
"Hello, good morning and welcome to Monday's This Morning." Holly kicked off the show as Alison held onto her hand before celebrating their hosting collab.
Confirming Phillip's length of the absence, but not the reason why, she went on: "Phillip is taking the week off so all the adults have left the building... Alison's come to play," Holly said with a squeal. "It's so good to be here," Alison responded.
"It's nice actually, to start the week off," the former Big Brother star added as Holly asked if it was good to be on the show on a Monday. "And you're here," she added to Holly who replied: "It's lovely to have you here."
It comes after Alison spent time with Holly over the weekend after she finally joined the blonde beauty's 'girl gang'. It comes after she hit the headlines over the weekend as the mum-of-one is said to be distraught after a 'blackmailer', once thought to be a friend, demanded money or they'd 'end her career'.
It has been claimed that Alison had already purchased a BMW car, worth an estimated £5,000, after the unidentified man threatened to "ruin" her. The man, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, is alleged to have blackmailed the mum-of-one over a period of eight months and West Midlands Police are now involved.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday (March 26), Alison shared a snap of herself, Holly, and Holly's 'girl gang' which she said was 'needed'. She could be seen smiling alongside Spice Girl Emma Bunton, All Saints singer Nicole Appleton, Shiarra Bell, who is head of artist relations at Universal Music and wife of Ride rocker Andy Bell, and PR guru Niki de Metz.
"Girl therapy night! Needed that@hollywilloughby @emmaleebunton @shishib," Alison captioned the post with Holly's older sister, Kelly Willoughby, among the first to respond. She said: "Ahhhhhhh. Always a healer. You’ve got this. Thanks for the fun." And fans were also keen to share their support.
