This Morning fans were left confused as they tuned into the latest show as Josie Gibson was nowhere to be seen. The former Big Brother winner has been back at the helm of the ITV daytime programme this week, much to viewers' delight.
She teamed up with Craig Doyle as the programme undergoes various changes to its hosting line-up over the summer. Josie was expected to spend the week hosting with Irish TV star Craig before the likes of Rochelle Humes, Vernon Kay, Ruth Langsford and Rylan Clark takeover.
But on Thursday's show (July 28), Josie was missing and she was replaced by Mollie King. ITV had already confirmed that the former Saturdays singer turned BBC Radio 1 host would be among the presenters taking over the show while Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield enjoy their annual summer break.

That didn't stop them, however, being taken by surprise. @kellyswann9 asked: "Where is Josie???? #ThisMorning." @21VampSt echoed: "Why? Just why? Where is Josie?#ThisMorning." @DavidMackayy tweeted: "Hope Josie’s okay, was surprised not to see her this morning #ThisMorning."
But it turns out they were pretty distracted by Mollie's appearance. @Flavybz commented: "#ThisMorning @thismorning who is that? Is she @hollywills twin sister? Same hair, same smile just rubbed my eyes now hahaha," to which @DanniizDesignz replied: "She seems really good so far. It is @MollieKing / Mollie King from the girl band The Saturdays and a BBC Radio 1 Presenter. #ThisMorning."
@Mysteron_Voice said: "I'm not sure it helps that Mollie's basically a Holly lookalike ...#ThisMorning." @ECharl0tt asked: "Mollie or Holly? Does anyone else think she looks exactly like her? #ThisMorning."
Opening Thursday's show, Mollie and Craig welcomed viewers before Craig, 51, turned to chat to his new co-host. "Look who's joining me today," he said. "It's Mollie! How's it going," Craig asked to which she replied: "I'm so excited, thanks for having me on with you."
Craig spoke to Mollie about he felt he had 'jumped into the telly' when he first started hosting the popular show earlier this year to which Mollie agreed. The 35-year-old continued: "I had one of those nights last night where I kept waking up throughout the night thinking, 'I've missed the alarm, I've overslept.'
"Thank goodness, I'm here on time... just about," she added before Craig mentioned Mollie recently announced news that she's expecting her first child with cricketer fiance Stuart Broad. "Baby's arriving in November. I'm six months now." She said: "I've got lots to learn but loving every minute."
