Peter Crouch was baffled as a judge claimed a Liverpool FC star was competing on The Masked Dancer.
The former striker appeared on the panel alongside Davina McCall, Oti Mabuse and Jonathan Ross. Joel Dommett returned to host the popular ITV programme and welcomed a batch of celebrities, who performed dazzling routines in elaborate costumes.
Scissors, Prawn Cocktail, Pillar & Post, Odd Socks and Candlestick took to the dancefloor in the latest edition. The judges were particularly wowed by Candlestick, who performed a routine that saw them sail through to the next round of the contest.

The energetic performance led Oti to suggest it was actually Andy Robertson behind the mask. She said: "I think you are an athlete."
Oti also spotted how the left back's former club, Dundee United, was written on sugar cubes in the VT - and said the red sticks in the footage could represent his current team. Crouch was taken aback by the guess as he laughed: "I don't think Jurgen would be too pleased."
Candlestick has revealed clues such as they don't have any dance experience and went to "Tinseltown" on their "way to success". Viewers following the show on Twitter claimed it was the new Doctor Who actor, Ncuti Gatwa.
Courtney said: "Candlestick has GOT TO be Ncuti Gatwa!!!"
Gaz added: "I think Ncuti Gatwa is candlestick."
Leanne posted: "Ncuti Gatwa for Candlestick?"
Han commented: "The candlestick is definitely Ncuti Gatwa!!! With the time hints as he’s the new Doctor and he’s Scottish!"
