ITV The Chase viewers 'in bits' as Bradley Walsh gets name of Scots nightclub wrong

Scottish viewers of The Chase were left in stitches after host Bradley Walsh made an embarrassing error about a town he claimed to know "very well".

One of the contestants on Thursday evening's show was William, an accountant from Paisley.

Walsh was asking William questions about himself, when he informed the host that he was wearing a paisley shirt in honour of his hometown.

When Walsh learned this information, he was keen to talk to the contestant about the town as he claimed to be familiar with it.

He said: "I know Paisley very well. They used to have a fantastic nightclub in Paisley called Tuxedo Junction.

"Back in the day, way before your time. I loved it there."

The nightclub was not called Tuxedo Junction but in fact Toledo Junction.

Scottish viewers, and those familiar with the iconic club, were quick to share their thoughts on Twitter.

"It was Toledo Junction not Tuxedo junction Bradley," a fourth commented.
