ITV The Chase viewers distracted as Bradley Walsh shows off new look

The Chase was back on-screens as ever on Thursday afternoon but viewers were once again distracted by host Bradley Walsh. The 61-year-old star was back to introduce the latest four contestants hoping to beat the chaser and walk away with some cash.

Matt, Julia, Ryan and Margo were the four members of the public who were fancying their chances and ended up going up against Shaun Wallace, aka The Dark Destroyer, in a bid to win big.

However, it was Bradley who soon stole the show after he appeared to be showing off a different look to usual. Those tuning in to watch were quickly heading to social media to comment on his "over the top" tan.

One brutally said: "Brad, that tan is embarrassing #thechase." "Brad looking unusually orange today #thechase," another commented.

A third added: "Bradley's gone way over the top with the fake tan stuff. He looks hilariously orange."

Earlier this week Bradley was causing chaos for a different reason. The former Coronation Street actor was left apologising on The Chase after his over-excitement caused him to 'break' the show's set.

Bradley shocked fans when he accidentally smashed the set in celebration of a correct answer. He was showing his support to contestant Max, who was on track to take home a huge £35k prize pot as he took on The Beast in a head-to-head.

As The Beast was quickly on Max's tail with just one question between them, Bradley asked Max: "Which of these counties borders the other two?" before he gave the options as Gloucestershire, Hampshire and Wiltshire, with Max choosing Wiltshire.

And with Max answering what Bradley believed to be a correct answer, it sent him into a spin of excitement and he smacked his hands down on the set.

"Ok I've cracked it I'm so sorry. Have we got a spare?" the former Coronation Street star suddenly confessed. "I can't believe that's happened, have we got a spare?"

Turning to Max, he then joked: "If you win the £35k can you lend me a couple of quid?" and The Beast himself even broke character and was left laughing at Bradley's over-excited error and warned him to to go "steady".
