The Chases quizmaster Mark Labbett issued an apology to fans after he stormed off set and punched a wall in a recent episode.
The ITV quiz show was back on screens on Wednesday night in its usual slot with four new players looking to beat the chaser.
Simon, Trudy, Gurbinder and Tom all had a successful run when they faced The Beast, and the group managed to walk away with a share of their £21,000 jackpot after The Beast was thrown off course and lost with a few questions left to go.

He admitted: "I give up, well played guys."
After congratulating his opponents, Mark then said "I'm off", and got up from his seat and left the set, punching the wall on his way out.
Looking bewildered, Bradley looked straight into the camera and said: "I apologise to all the kids watching, that is not how you should take defeat."
Mark has since taken to his Twitter account to issue his own apology to viewers of the ITV quiz show.
He wrote: "Apologies to those of you disappointed with my behaviour tonight. My mental health was shot before that game, it was storm off or break down in tears. A remorseless diet of quality opponents didn’t help #thechase."
Fellow chaser Paul Sinha rushed to support his friend, as he replied: "You should never have to apologise for the crime of 'being human'. I'd have been nowhere on those questions."
Fans also offered him support.
Gareth said: "Tbh you were kind and courteous to the team and their success then reacted angrily with yourself and that’s fine. It’s when the chaser is rude or short with the team that annoys me but you didn’t do that."
Narin said: "What?! You don’t need to apologise to anyone. Anyone expressing ‘disappointment’ about your performance needs to rein their neck in a bit and gain some perspective. Sorry you were struggling, hope you’re ok tonight (and not having a tidal wave of Twitter nonsense on top of it!)"
Kay said: "I assumed you were putting on a show, living up to your Beastie Boy persona. I am sorry if you were feeling unwell at that time. A lot of us can empathise with these negative thoughts and feelings. Love and best wishes to you."
