ITV The Chase's Mark Labbett stuns fans with dramatically slimmed down 'chiselled' appearance

The Chase's Mark Labbett has stunned fans by posting a photo of his recent dramatic weight loss.

Many commented on the quizzer's 'chiselled' appearance after Mark - best known as The Beast on the show - shared a selfie whilst filming the upcoming new series of the ITV programme's popular spin-off, Beat The Chasers.

Joined in the pic by fellow Chaser Shaun Wallace, aka The Dark Destroyer, he wrote: "Ready for quizzing :) #beatthechasers."

The snap came shortly after it was confirmed he wouldn't be returning for the US version of the quiz show, reports Birmingham Live. Mark initially took to social media to announce he was "gutted to not be invited back," but quickly blew off the rejection. His fans also rushed to support him as they commented on how good he looked following his efforts to lose weight. Gillybum53 echoed that compliment, saying: "Cheek bones Beastie well done," with Miss_rella_russell commenting, "Looking so good xxx."

While retaining Bradley Walsh as host, Beat The Chasers differs from The Chase in that, instead of competing against one of the Chasers, contestants face head-to-head challenges with each of them.
