The Chase's Bradley Walsh joked he will have to get a lawyer after he "called out" a player.
The 62-year-old returned to front Thursday's edition of the popular ITV game show. Ross, Carmel, Samta and Aliyu were testing their wits against Jenny Ryan in a bid to win thousands.
The team started off in great form as Ross booked his place in the Final Chase with £7,000. The Vixen fought back as she eliminated Carmel after a tense head-to-head.
Samta was next up and the 26-year-old earned £4,000 in an impressive cash-builder. She wanted to take her mum on holiday with any potential winnings from today's show.
Bradley was rooting for the quizzer to book her spot in the last round as he asked: "A buttock and thigh considered together, in a human or animal is referred to as what?"
The options were haunch, staunch and paunch. Samta opted for haunch and explained her decision as she said: "A paunch is a belly isn't it."
The host stepped in at this point and joked: "What are you looking me for? Pack that up I'll have to get a lawyer. What are you doing Tuesday?"
The Chaser and the player were in hysterics after the exchange as Samta took a step closer to the last round. However, her day soon took a turn as she answered the next questions incorrectly and was caught by Jenny.
Ali joined Ross in the final as they aimed to win £6,000. They built up 20 steps in the last round but left empty-handed as they were caught with 4 seconds remaining.
