Bradley Walsh came under fire from fans over "condescending" comments on The Chase.
The 62-year-old presenter welcomed four new players on today's edition of the popular ITV game show. John, Bernie, Layla and Viv were taking on Jenny Ryan in a bid to win a cash prize.
The team started off in confident form as John built up £6,000 before he swiftly navigated past The Vixen to book his spot in the Final Chase. John was followed by Bernie who added £3,000 to the cash haul.

Layla was up in seat three and the 20-year-old film student put in a superb showing to accumulate £4,000 in the cash-builder. Layla was joined by Viv in the Final Chase and the team were competing for an overall £16,000.
The team built up 20 steps and managed to avoid Jenny to take home the cash prize. Layla was identified as a key player in the Final Chase by Jenny and Bradley was impressed with her performance as he repeatedly described her as a "good player for a youngster".
However, viewers following the show on Twitter took issue with the praise.
Charley tweeted, alongside a roll eye emoji: "For a youngster."
Scamell added: "There was no need to say "the youngster"
Miss_SaHHara said: "WHY ARE THEY ALWAYS ANNOYING CONDESCENDING TOWARDS INTELLIGENT YOUNGER PLAYERS??? EUGHHHH"
@Calvacadewhimsy commented : "What a team. Layla wiped the floor with Jenny and the rest of them - though they all contributed with pushbacks. And Brad was all "well done you, youngster" before. Wouldn't have won without her."
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV and the ITV Hub
