ITV The Chase's Bradley Walsh in tears with laughter after beauty blunder

Bradley Walsh was in tears of laughter during Monday's episode of The Chase.

The 62-year-old host of the ITV quiz show collapsed in giggles after making a blunder while discussing his unusual beauty routine. He told chaser Jenny Ryan he used a product meant for fences rather than faces before noticing his blunder and erupting into laughter.

The presenter welcomed four new players - Nathan, Glenda, Jo and Greg - on to the show with hopes of them winning a cash prize. During 24-year-old Jo's turn, as she went head to head with the chaser, she was asked a question about the T-Zone - the oily area on your forehead, nose and chin.

Bradley admitted he had no idea what a T-Zone was so Jenny explained it to him. She said: "You're showing your age there. Under a certain age when you're a teenager you're taught about skincare. You're taught the T-Zone gets oilier than the rest of the face so you might need a different kind of moisturiser or face wash for that area."

Bradley looked perplexed as he said: "Moisturiser? I use what I always used... lard. And I wash my hair in creosol." Jenny said: "That explains it."

The host realised his blunder as he backtracked. He said: "No, coal tar soap. Not creosol. Coal tar soap." He began to laugh as the chaser fell into fits of giggles.

Bradley added: "Creosol is for the..." He burst into laughter as he grabbed hold of the contestant for support. He eventually finished his sentence as he said: "Creosol is for the fence."

The host had tears in his eyes as he couldn't stop laughing. The rest of the studio were also still chuckling away. He eventually composed himself and the game continued.
