Bradley Walsh was "hurt" as a player's BBC past was exposed on The Chase.
The 62-year-old welcomed Ben, Clifford, Carole and Taylor on this week's final edition of the popular ITV game show. The four quizzers were testing their wits against Paul Sinha in a bid to win a huge cash prize.
Ben was first up and the 40-year-old solicitor booked his spot in the Final Chase with £5,000. Clifford aimed to join his teammate in the last round and was disappointed to earn £4,000 in the cash-builder.

It became clear why he was underwhelmed with the decent score as the Sinnerman recognised he was a seasoned quizzer. Paul revealed he put in a similar performance when he appeared on BBC show, Mastermind.
He said: "Eight on Mastermind in 2015, that wasn't very good." Clifford said he fared better on his specialist subject and Paul remembered he scored 13 points on musician Eric Clapton.
A shocked Bradley stepped in at this point and said: "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Mastermind, you didn't tell me that bit. I'm meant to be your pal, Cliff."
Cliff resisted the temptation of the higher offer and proceeded to navigate his way past The Chaser into the last round. Every player progressed to the Final Chase as they were competing for a grand total of £16,000.
They built up 12 steps in the last round and left empty-handed as they were caught with 43 seconds remaining.
