Paul Sinha has become one of the nation's favourite quizzers since he joined ITV's The Chase.
But Paul, aka the 'Sinnerman', has had a long and varied career in the years before he became a chaser, in TV and comedy and as a doctor.
After starting out as a GP Paul eventually ended up becoming a stand-up comedian and touring the UK.

In his spare time, Paul enjoyed quizzing and soon became a formidable opponent, eventually landing a job as a Chaser.
The 51-year-old was diagnosed with Parkinson's back in 2019, but he hasn't let the neurological condition affect him.
Following his diagnosis, Paul married his partner Olly, sharing photos from their nuptials on social media.

Medical Career
One of Paul's early ambitions was to become a doctor and he succeeded.
Paul studied at Dulwich College and St George's Hospital Medical School, qualifying in the 1990s and going on to become a GP.
During his time at medical school he became the co-editor of the medical school newsletter, popularly known as the 'Slag Mag.'
Paul had always been good at quizzing, but during his time as a doctor he found it difficult to find the time to quiz and only really picked it up again when he quit medicine.
Comedy Career
During his time as a medical student Paul performed stand-up, telling jokes mainly about his sexuality and ethnicity and in 1999 he came third in the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year competition.
Paul has performed in nine shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and has played every major comedy club in the UK.
He's performed in eighteen other countries across the globe, and been three times nominated for Best Club Comedian at the Chortle Awards, winning in 2014.
Quizzing and The Chase
After quitting his medical career Paul decided to become an expert quizzer and soon made appearances on a variety of quiz shows.
He appeared on University Challenge: The Professionals, Are You an Egghead, Mastermind and Brain of Britain.
His first appearance, though, was on The Weakest Link, in which he was voted out surprisingly early - the fourth to go of all the contestants.
In 2011 after gaining a name for himself on the quizzing circuit Paul was recommend to become a brand new Chaser by Mark Labbett and Anne Hegarty.
He joined the show as the fourth Chaser and soon built up a cult following.
Paul also appears on spin-off show Beat the Chasers and is particularly popular in New Zealand where the show is also broadcast.
Paul's net worth
It is estimated that Paul is worth £1.4 million, according to reports, which means he is not the wealthiest Chaser - that title goes to The Dark Destroyer, Shaun Wallace, who is said to be worth £5 million.
Parkinson's diagnosis
Paul announced that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in June 2019.
He revealed the news on Twitter vowing to "fight this with every breath I have".
He said: "In the time since my Parkinson’s started I have been ludicrously busy, and fully intend to keep Chasing, keep writing and performing comedy, keep quizzing and keep being hopeless at Tasks," he said, referring to his stint on popular Channel 4 comedy show Taskmaster.
"Dancing on Ice is, I suspect, out of the question. A lot of people have asked 'What can I do to help?' The answer is to treat me exactly the same as before."
Paul has said he will step away from The Chase if his quizzing performance begins to suffer, but currently, he is on amazing form.
Marriage to husband Olly
Paul has always been openly gay, often using his sexuality in his comedy and on December 14, 2019 Paul married his partner Oliver Levy.
The couple got married in front of 38 guests, but more than 300 of their friends and family joined them for the reception.
Paul wrote about his wedding day in his blog saying he hadn't thought about his Parkinson's once during the day and said: "All I thought was how lucky I was to have lived a life where my friends and family are amazing. On to married life."
And it seems that Paul isn't the only one who's got the knack for quizzing. Last year, Paul revealed he had taken part in three different quizzes, all of which were won by his husband.
Taking to Twitter back in August 2020 he wrote: "Yesterday I took part in three very different quizzes with the opposition including many of the strongest quizzers in the UK, Europe and indeed the world. All three were won. By my husband. Honestly. I'm proud. Honestly."
