ITV The Chase 'dog loving' contestant leaves viewers saying the same thing

A contestant on ITV's The Chase has left viewers all the saying the same thing.

Ramisa from London took on The Chaser after having an impressive cash builder round.

She went to head to head against Shaun Wallace on The Chase on Tuesday January 18.

Before she got into answering any questions, host Bradley Walsh asked her what she did for fun outside her job with the council.

Ramisa expressed how much she loves dogs.

She went on to say that she didn't have a dog, but read about, watched them and if she wins the cash prize, Ramisa would buy a dog.

However, one thing seemed to stand in her way. Her pet cat.

She repeatedly shared that 'when the cat dies' she would replace it with a dog.

A deposit for a house was also on the wish list for Ramisa where she would have enough room for the dog and another room for the cat, "far, far away".

The Chase viewers quickly took to Twitter to offer their sympathy for Ramisa's cat.

Lucy double checked: "Did I hear this woman correctly? She’s waiting for he’s Cat so die because she want a dog…".

Nigel said: "Ramisa the 'Dead Cat Lady'.... #SheReallyWantsADog #TheChase".

"Does Ramisa need to be reported to the RSPCA after that intro on #TheChase??!!", Ellie asked.

Another viewer added: "I appreciate that she's looking forward to the death of her cat".

All four contestants stayed in play right till the end but Shaun Wallace proved to have the bigger brains and sadly Ramisa went home with nothing.

The Chase is on Monday-Friday on STV, ITV at 5pm and STV player.
