ITV The Chase contestant turns to Bradley Walsh and asks to stop show

A contestant on The Chase turned to Bradley Walsh and asked them to stop filming after noticing a problem.

In an episode of The Chase: The Bloopers, Bradley looked back on some of his funniest moments from the show. In one scene, John, a contestant can be seen taking on the head-to-head.

Bradley said: "Here's your next question", before John chipped in: "Can we just stop Bradley, sorry."

Pointing to a flap on the screen, he added: "That hasn't opened." Bradley quickly explained: "It won't open, it's automatic, when I say 'the chase is on' it starts to open.

"It's like magic, in fact the way that opens, there's a certain time of life where you wish you had a piece of that."

Resuming to his presenting duties, Bradley turned back to the camera and said: "For £7,000, the chase is on."

At that moment, the flap, which prevents The Chaser from seeing which answer the contestant has pressed, opened. Bradley said: "I'm like a wizard."

The bloopers left fans at home in stitches, with one tweeting: "Bradley Walsh is a national treasure I love him #thechase."

Adam Dyer said: "This is so funny #TheChase." Mike added: "Watching #TheChase bloopers. Very funny."

And Julie Wooler said: "Bloopers so funny."
